Production Trace
A Production Trace is the live production record of an Interactive Agent's decision-making, distinguished from development traces and sandbox traces, and the substrate of audit response and improvement-loop input.
Production Trace is the granular distinction from Trace. A Trace exists wherever the agent runs: in development, in evaluation sandboxes, in regression suites, and in live production. A Production Trace is the subset generated by live production decisions against real users, real Tools, and real Consequential Tool invocations. The distinction matters for governance. Audit response to regulators draws on Production Traces, not on sandbox runs. The autonomous improvement loop reads Production Traces to surface patterns that reflect real operating conditions. Co-Pilot's refinement proposals are grounded in Production Traces. The Annotation Workflow labels Production Traces. The InteractiveAI Platform stores Production Traces under the operator's sovereignty envelope.
